Outdoor Bank “What’s Your Outdoors?” Photo Contest Official Rules
GENERALLY
Outdoor Bank is proud to announce a social media-based photo contest titled “What’s Your Outdoors?” (hereinafter known as “The Contest”).
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
The What’s Your Outdoors? Photo Contest is sponsored by Outdoor Bank. The Contest is governed by these Official Rules (“Official Rules”). By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the Contest, as determined by Outdoor Bank and its employees and agents, are final in all respects.
The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States where not prohibited by law.
Persons under the age of 18 are eligible to participate but will be required to have a parent or legal guardian present to claim any prize.
Outdoor Bank has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant. Outdoor Bank employees, board members, and employees and principals of Outdoor Bank affiliates, including immediate family members of the same and residents of their households, are not eligible to win.
Determination of eligibility is within the sole discretion of Outdoor Bank. Failure to comply with these Official Rules will result in the ineligibility of the participant.
HOW TO ENTER
Official entries must meet the following criteria:
- Post an original, outdoor-based image to Facebook, Instagram, or X (formerly Twitter).
- Mention @OutdoorBank and use the hashtag #MyOutdoors.
- Entrants must follow Outdoor Bank on the social media platform from which they submit their entry.
- By submitting an entry, entrants agree to allow Outdoor Bank to repost, share, and use any official submissions for future marketing and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
There is no limit to caption length.
WINNER SELECTION
One finalist will be selected each week for four (4) consecutive weeks by Outdoor Bank staff.
Weekly winners will be announced on the Friday afternoon following each contest week.
At the conclusion of the Contest, the four weekly finalists will be entered into a public social media vote. The finalist receiving the highest number of qualifying votes/likes across Outdoor Bank’s designated voting platforms will be declared the Grand Prize Winner.
The Grand Prize Winner will be announced on July 3, 2026.
Once notified, the Grand Prize Winner will receive a $5,000 prize in a form determined by the winner and approved by Outdoor Bank, including:
- Cash
- Deposit into an Outdoor Bank account
- Certified check
- Application toward an obligation currently existing at Outdoor Bank
PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER CATEGORY
A separate $2,000 Professional Photographer Grand Prize will also be awarded.
For purposes of this Contest, a “Professional Photographer” is defined as any individual who receives compensation, payment, or income in exchange for taking photographs or providing photography services, regardless of whether photography is their full-time profession or part-time work.
Any entrant meeting this definition must enter under the Professional Photographer category.
The Professional Photographer winner will be selected through public social media voting from eligible professional submissions.
Outdoor Bank reserves the right to determine entrant classification and may reclassify any entrant into the Professional Photographer category at its sole discretion.
CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins at 12:01 AM CST on Saturday, May 30, 2026 and concludes with the announcement of the Grand Prize Winner on July 3, 2026.
OBJECTIVE
The What’s Your Outdoors? Photo Contest is a brand awareness and engagement campaign designed to raise Outdoor Bank’s visibility in Kansas.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Each participant agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules. Additional terms and conditions may apply as determined during the course of the Contest.
Any expenses or costs associated with participation in the Contest, acceptance of a prize, or use of a prize that are not expressly stated herein are the sole responsibility of the participant or winner.
ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE ARE SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.
Outdoor Bank may be required to collect certain personal information from winners for compliance with applicable tax obligations. Refusal to provide such information may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.
ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS
There is one (1) Grand Prize winner and one (1) Professional Photographer winner.
Prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable anywhere other than Outdoor Bank unless otherwise determined by Outdoor Bank.
No substitution or equivalent prize will be permitted except at Outdoor Bank’s sole discretion.
Outdoor Bank is not responsible for the destruction, loss, or mutilation of any certificate or documentation related to the prize.
Outdoor Bank and its respective parent companies, affiliates, owners, board members, agents, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the administration of the Contest, including errors in advertising, these Official Rules, winner announcements, or prize distribution.
Outdoor Bank reserves the right to terminate, suspend, modify, or amend the Contest, without notice, for any reason, including circumstances beyond Outdoor Bank’s control.
INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
BY PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE, AND HOLD HARMLESS OUTDOOR BANK, ITS PARENT COMPANIES, AFFILIATES, OWNERS, BOARD MEMBERS, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST OR THE ACCEPTANCE, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE.
Outdoor Bank makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding any prize awarded in connection with the Contest.
Outdoor Bank disclaims any liability for injury or damage to persons or property related to participation in the Contest.
PROPRIETARY INFORMATION / PUBLICITY
All marketing materials, advertisements, promotional content, and Contest-related materials are the sole property of Outdoor Bank.
By entering the Contest, each participant grants Outdoor Bank permission to use their submitted photo, name, likeness, username, and comments for publicity, marketing, and promotional purposes without additional compensation except where prohibited by law.
